Muv-Luv Regenerative is a magazine published by aNCHOR beginning in December 2022, containing articles exploring characters, TSF designs, the history of the world of Muv-Luv and more.
Background[]
First announced on the Hakuryo aNCHOR Preparatory Academy Online Student Assembly 2022 event under the tentative name of "Gekkan Muv-Luv" (Monthly Muv-Luv), the expressed purpose of Muv-Luv Regenerative is to create a resource explaining characters and events to new fans of the series, as well as to publish news on the status of âge's in development projects such as Muv-Luv Resonative and Muv-Luv Integrate.
The magazine is published online in PDF format and can be purchased from the official âge online store. Specific volumes, such as the first one which was published on the occasion of the Comiket 101, are planned to be published in print as well. The first issue was also sold as part of a founder's set, which included extras such as an ID card with custom photo and an additional electronic publication covering the continuation of Takamura Yui's story.[1]
An English translation was announced on January 6, 2023.[2] It was released after some delay on March 24, 2023 and is available for purchase as a DLC for Muv-Luv Alternative on Steam.[3]
The second volume featuring Mitsurugi Meiya on the cover was released on March 3, 2023, this time only in digital form. The English translation was released on April 24, 2023 on Steam.[4]
