Masaki Maejima
Maejima Masaki (前島 正樹) is the main character of Kimi ga Ita Kisetsu. The childhood friend of the Isumi sisters, and classmate of Isumi Marika. Some sort of Photography prodigy. Works under Kouzuki Mitsuko.

Muv Luv Alternative[]
Masaki is mentioned in Muv-Luv Alternative by Michiru, who still pined for him. He is still alive within the ranks of the IJA, as she sought advice from Shirogane and others on how to capture his affection.
Etymology[]
- Maejima means "previous/previously, before, earlier, front/in front, former, above, one-time, fore part, privy parts/privates, miss, presence, portion, for, since, forward" (前) (mae) and "island" (島) (shima/jima).
- Masaki means "right, proper" (正) (masa) and "tree" (樹) (ki).
Trivia[]
- Based on the conversation with Isumi in Alternative, Masaki seems to be extremely dense when it comes to love affairs. Enough for Isumi to lose her cool and act in uncharacteristic manners.
