Kyouzuka Shizue is a side character first appearing in Muv-Luv Unlimited.
Unlimited/Alternative[edit | edit source]
Before the BETA Invasion of Japan Kyouzuka used to have a cafe in the city near the Yokohama Base. When the invasion happened she took refuge in Kyoto to escape from the BETA. After the reconstruction of the Yokohama Base she volunteered to work there as base personnel. Because of her prior working experience she became a cook at one of the base's PXs, specifically the one used by Takeru and his friends.
She is not part of the military, though the Special Wartime Laws have granted her the rank of Provisional Sergeant Major, and therefore she is more casual and really kind with the pilots, especially the rookies.
As a final farewell to deceased pilots she makes their favorite dish for their comrades to eat.
