Guylos McCloud is a side character first introduced in the Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse series. A 2nd Lieutenant of the US Army, Guylos is as stoic as he is muscular.

Total EclipseEdit

Hailing from the 65th Combat Training Battalion's Infinities Test Flight, with the callsign of Infinity-3, Guylos is a stark contrast to his peer, Leon Kuze, especially when it came to matters concerning former flight mate Yuuya Bridges. Guylos seemed to focus more on the Infinities' true purpose of being at Yukon Base, and advised Leon to not get too caught up in his quest of vengeance against Yuuya.

During an open-air hot-springs R&R session launched by Captain Orson of Project PROMINENCE, Guylos and Infinities flight leader Lieutenant Keith Blazer acted as security for the women's area, easily laying waste to all the men attempting to sneak in.

During the Yukon Base Incident, Guylos and the other pilots of the Infinities were in Soviet Alaska territory, destroying Soviet G-bomb research sites. When the Infinities returned to Yukon Base to aid Argos and Idol Test Flights against the RLF, BETA, and Christopher's forces, Guylos and Keith split from Sharon Heim and Leon Kuze to engage in laserjagd, in order to clear out the horde of Laser-class released by the RLF. They later met up with 2nd Lieutenants Valerio Giacosa and Stella Bremer of Argos Test Flight along the way, and successfully completed their mission with no losses.

  • His overall character design and artwork, especially during the early days of Total Eclipse, is suspiciously similar to that of two different charaters; Guile, from the Street Fighter series, and Gilgamesh, of Fate/stay Night.
  • Generally noted by fans to be the most manly man of TE, and possibly the entire franchise, or at least tying with Alfred Walken.
